Huge Hadrosaur Toe Bonedinosaur FossilHgue hadrosaur toe bone. This huge toe bone comes from the hadrosaur edmontosaurus. Edmontosaurus was a large duck billed dinosaur, adults reached lengths of 42' feet. This amazing toe bone is the largset we have found from the plant eating hadrosaur, edmontosaurus. The toe bone was found in one piece and needed no restoration. It was dug out of a microsite and has great detail and coloration, its bone preservation is great. Teh edmontosaurus toe digit measures 4 7/8 inches wide at its base by just over 4 1/2 inches in length. This huge toe digit was collected from a microsite in the hell creek formation of south eastern, montana. It was ocllected on private ranch land with the owner's permission. Many times when we show people fossils, we will hear, these items are os small, are you sure they are from dinosaurs?
